JOHN HENRY JACOBS aka "Uncle Jack" / "Unc"
Slyvia Davey's Father William died in 1953. Ken's father Ivan died in 1956. Unc became the grandfather figure to many of Ma's grandkids, particularly at Victor Harbor and Fishy Bay. Unc had a lot to teach us.
Many of Unc's friends and relatives would remember fishing in the channel, holes and creeks out of Fishermans Bay on the Viking then the Lissie. Playing cards at night in the shacks was mandatory.
